The Lavvo
Our lavvo is inspired by the traditional tipi tent, built around an open fire where people come together to eat, talk, and spend time together.
Hosted by a chef, serving a dinner honouring the taste og the surrounding woodlands, this is an intimate and informal dining experience in the middle of the forest.
The menu is inspired by seasonal produce, inspired by the land and surrounding nature.
In the evenings from May through August, our chefs light the fire and cook from what the season and the landscape offer. It is open-air, unhurried, and genuinely unlike any other dining experience at Storfjord. The kind of evening that reminds you why eating outside around a fire never gets old.

The lavvo may be reserved for private events. Request the hotel for prices and availability.
May-August: Every Monday at 6 pm
You will follow the path, a short and beautiful hike from the hotel into the forest. Please be mindful of the hike when choosing footwear for the evening; stilettos should be avoided.
Inside the lavvo, an open fire sets the atmosphere, and the smoke may linger on clothing. Please consider this when choosing an outfit for the evening.
