Storfjord sits on a hillside above the little village of Glomset – a thirty minute drive from Ålesund and the international airport at Vigra, but feeling considerably further from the rest of the world. Secluded enough to properly unwind, and close enough to everything you might need.

Drive along the coast from Bergen or Trondheim, or through the valleys of inner Norway from Oslo. Whichever way you come, the roads make the journey as much a part of the trip as the destination.

Arriving by boat is one of the better ways to approach Storfjord. We can arrange transfer from Ålesund or, if you're continuing your journey from our sister hotel Union Øye through the fjords. Get in touch with reception to arrange.
Guest yachts are welcome to moore at the hotel quay.
