Thanksgiving

Norway has its own version of Thanksgiving – høsttakkefest, a tradition of gathering once the harvest is in and the darker months begin. At Storfjord, that feels like a natural reason to set a proper table. On 26 November, the restaurant opens for a special three-course dinner. Corn soup with bacon to start, followed by turkey with stuffing, sweet potato purée, cranberry sauce and root vegetables – and pumpkin pie with cream to finish. The kind of meal that takes its time. A celebration of the harvest season and good food, open to all guests. Reservations through reception.
